As at least two of the Network Chiefs made me aware of earlier today, something bigly happened in the home city today.
Down at the bottom of the hill, the residence known as the "happy" place/auto parts place was visited by purportedly at least 6-8 CPD cars, and at least a few GBI Agents; also, apparently, they stayed there for at least a couple of hours & removed a large amount of stuff/"evidence."
I reached out to a source I have at the CPD (Covington Police Department), our crack, top-notch municipal police force, and got the following communique:
[CPD] assisting with a patrol presence to the GBI...it's a case they are working on..."
Very interesting...
We'll keep an eye on it.
